XoftSpy SE is a major improvement upon its predecessor, Xoftspy. The program has been enhanced significantly in many previously deficient area, most notably the user interface and the disk scan facility.
The navigation is quite straightforward, conisting of an options menu and quarantine area. Many of the annoying quirks in the old version have been removed, and its altogether a much slicker product now.
Threats detected on your computer can be removed and quarantined. The database of virus defintions is kept well up to date so that viruses can be caught and eliminated.
One thing missing from the product is a scheduled check facility - this would be a welcome addition to the next version which we hope the makers will consider.
The product gives you better than average security without being unduly expensive, and for this reason we would be inclined to suggest it as a recommended purchase.
